NEW YORK CITY, NY — A traffic stop led to a situation where a perverted police officer stole sexually-explicit images from a woman’s cell phone.
Pamela Held, 27, was pulled over for allegedly failing to display an “inspection sticker”. Five officers piled out of a police van to make the stop, including Officer Sean Christian.
The officers performed a search on the woman and produced some prescription medication. Because of insane prohibition laws, the woman and her companion were hauled to the police station.
Cops began interrogating Pamela, demanding her whereabouts for the night before. She naively talked to them without a lawyer, and tried to prove to them her innocence. She showed them her cell phone text messages which indicated where she was (as if that were relevant?!).
Officer Christian snatched her phone from her and went into a private area for the following 3 hours with it. “I knew they had my phone and I was bugging out,” Held said. “I had a bad feeling.”
After a long wait Held was finally given a ticket. Officer Christian followed her into the parking lot and tried to hit on her.
“He was telling me I’m a beautiful girl and I need to stop hanging out with the wrong people,” Held recalled.
When she analyzed her phone she discovered that a variety of private material had been stolen from her phone; material that was only meant for her boyfriend. Sent to a strange number were 20 explicit images and 5 explicit videos.
A private investigator traced the number back to Officer Christian, who denied everything. He denied ever meeting Pamela Held, denied swiping the photos and videos, and denied working at the 104th Precinct.
There have been no consequences for Officer Sean Christian. Pamela Held is suing the NYPD.
